Inspired by Lewis Hamilton’s 2024 Mercedes–AMG Petronas Formula One W15 E Performance Grand Prix car.

This sculpture is a scaled version of the original ‘Engineered Hammer’. It is the actual size of a Hammerhead shark pup at birth. This sculpture captures this fascinating shark with all of it’s interesting lines.

Selected parts and materials used in this sculpture are from modern Grand Prix cars as listed below.

Sculpture limited to 92 unique pieces.

Body: Carbon fibre 2 x 2 twill 200 gsm, 2.4 mm thick, with UV resistant clear coating and painted detail.

Dorsal and underside fins: Black coated 0.5 mm photo etched stainless steel.

Tail and Pectoral fins: Black coated 0.5 mm photo etched stainless steel.

Exhausts: Inconel brown coated water system PRV 75° fitting adapted to suit and vapourmat blasted.

Marking detail: Silver and Petronas Green water transfer with custom Mercedes W15 and race decals.

Teeth: Printed chrome on black Decal.

Mounting base and rod: Mounted on a FIA legality underfloor plank with a gear from the 
Mercedes–AMG Petronas Formula One GP car, part number: 1080 - B07 - 0161/1 L25405 with acetal infill and stainless steel rod.*

Mounting methods: Desk mounted.

Dimensions: L 700 mm W 260 mm H 430 mm on base.
