This sculpture is a scaled version of the original ‘Engineered Hammer’. It is the actual size of a Hammerhead shark pup at birth. This sculpture captures this fascinating shark with all of it’s interesting lines.

Selected parts and materials used in this sculpture are from modern Grand Prix cars as listed below.

Sculpture limited to ninety two pieces.

Body: Carbon fibre 2 x 2 twill 200 gsm, 2.4 mm thick, with UV resistant clear coating.

Dorsal and underside fins: Graphite coated 0.5 mm photo etched stainless steel.

Tail and Pectoral fins: Graphite coated 0.5 mm photo etched stainless steel.

Exhausts: Water system PRV 75° fitting adapted to suit and vapourmat blasted.

Marking detail: Silver and graphite water transfer.

Teeth: Printed chrome on black Decal.

Mounting base and rod: Mounted on a FIA legality underfloor plank from the Aston Martin Formula One Grand Prix car with a gearbox oil sump outlet from the Red Bull Racing Formula One Grand Prix car, part number: RB4–GB–00371–20 L153. *

Mounting methods: Desk mounted.
